The Meaning of Aomih: My Joy
Aomih (derived from Ayomi) translates to “my joy” — a nod to beginnings, connection, and the things we build with heart. Rooted in the name Ayomide, meaning “my joy has come”, the word carries a sense of arrival, presence, and purpose.
Variations of Aomih are traditionally used as a gender-neutral name across regions of Sinhala, Yoruba, and Japanese culture — a quiet reflection of what we aim to create: brands and spaces that feel like belonging, wherever you are.

Hello, I am the Creative Director and Founder of Aomih. With over a decade of experience across interiors, brand strategy, and experiential design, I’ve built Aomih as a response to what I felt was missing in the industry—spaces, brands, and systems that truly feel like something. Design, hospitality, and human connection have always been my language—even before I had the words for it. My background is in interior architecture, but along the way, I picked up brand strategy, visual storytelling, and a deep love of systems thinking. At its core, though, my work has always centered around people. How we gather. How we interact. How we feel seen.
Aomih was created as a home for this kind of work—a studio that shapes brands and experiences around how people connect. Whether we’re building strategy, launching campaigns, designing third places, or mapping out community activations, our goal is always the same: make it feel real. Make it feel like something. Strategy doesn’t have to feel cold. Community doesn’t have to be accidental. Brand doesn’t have to be surface-level.
We blend intentional strategy with meaningful design. helping brands tell deeper stories, build spaces and systems people want to return to, and create strong frameworks that grow with you—not just for you. Beyond the strategy guides and creative direction, my greatest joy is helping our clients move their vision forward in a way that feels aligned, exciting, and long-term. Oh, hey there…I’m Elle, a copywriter and launch strategist helping brands grow sustainably with intentional, strategic messaging.
I started my career creating content for companies like Linktree and Forbes Advisor, and over the next four years evolved from a content writer into a copywriter into a strategist. Today, I specialize in writing high-converting sales and brand copy, planning messaging strategies, and helping brands plan successful launches, led by data & market analysis.
I’ve always been a creative and curious person, but I’ve also always had a logical mind when it comes to problem-solving. These two things have shaped my approach to copy and messaging - unique content that stands out and sounds good - but that's also grounded in the ‘why’.
High-converting copy and messaging needs to come from a place of strategy - it has to speak to your audience, elevate the rest of your brand strategy, and be based on real data, not just guesswork.
Ultimately, my goal is to go beyond just copy, and partner with brands to create messaging strategies that are sustainable, authentic, and successful. I use conversion coaching to empower audiences into action, instead of short-term tactics like fear and shame - because my job is to help you build a successful marketing strategy and build a loyal, engaged audience that feels seen and that continues growing with your brand long into the future.
